Michael J. Whiting
As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group, Michael maintains a general litigation practice with a particular emphasis on construction litigation and creditors’ rights and remedies. Michael has broad experience handling various shareholder disputes, commercial, tort and contract claims for clients ranging from large international corporations to individuals.
In his construction litigation practice, Michael acts for various parties in the construction industry, including developers, home builders, home owners, general contractors and sub-trades. His construction experience focuses primarily on contractual disputes and lien claims.
Michael is also a member of the firm’s Personal Legal Services Group - Matrimonial. Michael’s emphasis in this area focuses on property division, spousal and child support, business valuations and divisions, pensions, stock options and tax issues associated with divorce and the division of matrimonial property.
