John A. Brigidear

John Brigidear is a partner in our Securities, Mergers and Acquisitions Group. His practice focuses on securities, business and general corporate and commercial law matters.

John has experience advising both private and public companies, including start-up and venture capital companies, on structuring and debt and equity financings, including secured loans, private placements, initial public offerings and prospectus offerings. He also advises public companies on securities laws compliance and the rules and obligations of various stock exchanges including the Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange and the Canadian National Stock Exchange.

John also has considerable experience acting for clients in the purchase and sale of their businesses, including share and asset acquisitions and divestures, and in the negotiation of their commercial leases.
